An old one
~With desperation in his eyes he looks love in the face. With a blank stare he drops to his knees in defeat. As she closes the door she gives one last glance back through her glassy green tear filled eyes. His heart sinks to his stomache. The door closes and all is lost. He then sobs himself to sleep on the hard oak wood floor. The next morning he awakens to darkness, his watch reads 10:15 a.m but still no sun. He rises to his feet in disbelief and stumbles to his favorite chair where he can ponder the happenings of the night before. He then arose to the half cracked window for a glimpse of his wreckened world. The trees aren't swaying, there's no wind in sight. No birds were singing, just silence through the empty sky, house, and heart. When she walked out the door that dreadful night she took with her his sunshine, his world. As reality sets in he suffers from loves hysteria. All equations and answers hit him at once. As hard as a tidal wave slamming into a jetty, with just one difference. You see after a wave hits the water seeps down the rocks and is accepted back into the original surrounding of wich it came. He was stuck in between those rocks trying desperately to find a way back to where he belongs. As panic sets in all he can do now is pray, hope, and never give up. Only time can tell if the sun will once again rise and his ocean of dreams will ever again let him be a part and become whole. I wish i could tell you that this ends happily but with love you never know where you'll end up. When in love there are always different outcomes and one scenario is never the same as the first. Love just seems to fall from the heavens. Not knowing where it will fall every person walking the earths surface is a potential landing zone. After reading this you just have to ask yourself one question. Will you hide and take cover or will you look to the sky with arms wide and wait for love to fall in your lap. And if you already hold this, don't take it for granted...hold on with all that you are made of and never let it go.
